Workshop on Resentencing in Capital Cases | 9 and 10 Dec 2023 | Kuala Lumpur

Dear Members,

Bar Council Criminal Law Committee together with Reprieve, a non-governmental organization from the United Kingdom is organizing a two-day workshop that will introduce overarching aspects of mitigation investigation and adducing mitigation evidence in resentencing applications.

Reprieve will be sponsoring 25 participants from East Malaysia, covering the following:-

Accommodation - at the rate of maximum GBP 35 per night (for 2 nights)
Travel (return flight) - 100% of the fee irrespective of the price of the flight ticket.

Priority is given to criminal law practitioners who are attending to revision cases.
