Notice on AAS Young Lawyers & Pupils Workshop on 1 - 3 December 2023 in Kuching

Dear Members, young lawyers and pupils in all legal firms in Sarawak,

AAS Central will be conducting a Young Lawyers & Pupils Workshop 2023 comprising of Etiquette Course, Advocacy Training and YBGK Part 1 and 2 Training, particulars as follows:-

Venue: Pullman Hotel, Kuching
Date: 1 - 3 December 2023 (Friday - Sunday)
Time: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Fee: RM650.00/pax
Attire: Black and White

Attendance for the workshop will facilitate your YBGK Pledge, Etiquette Course requirement under Rule 9(3) of the Advocates (Pupillage & Admission) Rules 2014 and the Advocacy Training Course requirement under the Directive of the Right Honourable Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak dated 10.10.2019 (Ref: RHC/C/89 Jld3 (50)).

Upon verification of your payment and your physical attendance having been recorded, the Certificate of Attendance will be couriered to your respective branch bar rooms for collection.

For those who have been called to the Bar, please file a Supplementary Affidavit together with the Certificate of Attendance as exhibit.
