MARK YOUR CALENDAR! National Symposium on Islamic Banking and Finance 2025
05-09-2024Dear Member Advocates,
In conjunction with the Opening of the Legal Year 2025 of Sabah and Sarawak in Kuching, Sarawak. The Advocates Association of Sarawak in partnership with the Association of Islamic Banking Berhad and Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM) is co-organising the National Symposium on Islamic Banking and Finance 2025 on 11th and 12th January, 2025 at Riverside Majestic Hotel. Kuching, Sarawak.
Advocates & Solicitors from all over Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam have been invited to participate in the Symposium 2025. A Certificate of Attendance co-signed by AAS and AIBIM will be issued to all Participants of the National Symposium 2025 and this Certificate can be submitted to panel bank(s) in Advocates' application for panelship(s) review. Therefore, do mark your Calendar for the National Symposium on 11th and 12th January 2025.
We are delighted to inform the The Right Honourable Chief Justice of Sabah and Sarawak, His Lordship Tan Sri Dato Sri Abdul Rahman bin Sebli has agreed to deliver the Keynote Address for the National Symposium 2025.
Members whose firm are in Islamic Banking Panelship are encouraged to send their advocates to attend the Symposium 2025 in order to keep themselves updated on the development on Islamic Banking and Finance and to comply with the Bank's requirement in attending Islamic Banking courses to maintain their panelship(s) as we have been made to understand that some banks require their panel firms to attend at least one (1) course per year. This is a golden opportunity to attend such course at home ground as similar courses held outside Sarawak are priced at RM2,100.00 to RM2,300 for early bird prices.
Please be reminded that seats at National Symposium 2025 are limited.
